Hi, I am Abbie
I am an MSc qualified, Clinical Animal Behaviourist and trainer.
As cliché as it sounds, I am an animal lover! I find animals fascinating and have done from a very young age. In fact, since my mother is a veterinary surgeon, I have been helping in vet practices my entire life. My animal handling experience started when I was very young, caring for abandoned cats, dogs, seagulls and even wild boar!
Pursuing my goal to become a Qualified Animal Behaviourist, I applied to the MSc course in Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Lincoln. I was over the moon when I got accepted and even more so when I later received a Merit for my work.
I have volunteered for Spay Sisters, an animal charity which helps reduce the overpopulation of dogs and cats around the world and at animal rescue centres such as K9 Crusaders and Jerry Green to promote animal welfare. I pride myself in making sure I am up to date on all the latest behaviour and training techniques and work with your pet’s welfare at the forefront of my work.
In 2020, during the 2nd lockdown, I designed “Abbie’s Animal Behaviour & Training” to help you with your pet problems and training dreams! I am here to help you train your furry friend in the most fun and effective way.
All my services are tailored to suit you and your pet with anything you might need.
